About the role:
We’re looking for a Data Engineer – Cloud & IoT who thrives on real-time data challenges, enjoys working with complex and heterogeneous data, and wants to play a key role in building a best-in-class data architecture.
This role is a mix of data engineering and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) . You will be responsible for ingesting, processing, and analyzing diverse data streams from thousands of IoT devices, including video, audio, metadata, and events.
The challenge? Ensuring seamless real-time data flow, handling a wide variety of structured and unstructured data, and enabling live dashboards and automated insights.
Responsibilities
- Architect and develop scalable, real-time data pipelines to process IoT data streams (video, audio, metadata, events)
- Handle heterogeneous data formats and sources, ensuring consistent processing and integration
- Optimize data ingestion and transformation for real-time analytics and live dashboards
- Work with stakeholders to design data-driven automation and AI-powered decision-making
- Develop efficient ETL/ELT pipelines for both real-time and batch processing
- Ensure data security, governance, and compliance
SRE
- Manage and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to support real-time data workloads
- Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to track system performance and data flow
- Automate infrastructure tasks and CI/CD workflows
- Participate in on-call duty to ensure platform reliability
What We’re Looking For
- Expertise in real-time data streaming technologies
- Extensive experience in data warehousing, ideally with Snowflake, including optimization and performance tuning
- Deep knowledge of SQL and data modeling for high-performance analytics
- Experience designing data pipelines that integrate multiple heterogeneous sources
- Hands-on experience processing structured and unstructured data
- Familiarity with AWS cloud infrastructure and best practices
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and cloud automation tools
- Problem-solver who enjoys working in a fast-moving, innovative environment
