Welcome to the Audi F1 Project.
Audi will be competing in the FIA Formula 1 World Championship from 2026.
The new team has two locations. Audi’s Motorsport Competence Center in Neuburg (Germany) is considered one of the most modern of its kind in Europe. The Sauber Group’s Formula 1 factory in Hinwil (Switzerland) is known for its innovative technologies and passion for racing. The Power Unit comes from Neuburg, while Hinwil is responsible for the development of the chassis and race operations. The planned takeover by AUDI AG turns two teams into a factory team – and you can be part of it.

The position for the Audi F1 Project is at Sauber in Hinwil (Switzerland).
Your mission
- Design and package the harness, routing of sensor cables using 3DExperience Electrical 3D Systems Design package in close contact with the electronics technician
- Create electrical 2D manufacturing drawings using 3DExperience Electrical Manufacturing package
- Support activities for the implementation of the DMU (Digital Mockup) within the electrical system group
- Mass and CoG analysis of the harness
- Be responsible for creating and maintaining the electronic library using 3DExperience Electrical 3D Systems Design package
- Work with and improve the interface to the wire harness design software Zuken
- Support the design of components and assemblies
Your profile
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar education
- Good knowledge in Catia/3DExperience, especially Electrical 3D Systems Design package and Electrical Manufacturing package
- Experience in working as part of a team with multidisciplinary engineers
- Good knowledge of wiring loom design as well as related problem solving
- Professional, reliable, resilient and used to work independently and under pressure
- Dedicated, flexible and highly motivated personality with a responsible and result oriented mindset
- Full professional proficiency in German or English and a willingness to learn a basic level in the corresponding other language are prerequisites
