About the role
You’ll help transform two mission‑critical platforms by replatforming them onto Flowable—giving the business the speed and flexibility to grow. You’ll design and build BPMN workflows, craft intuitive screens, create custom React components, and shape integrations across pricing, records, ADEPT, risk, and SICS via Azure. You’ll lead by example—setting engineering standards, guiding vendor teams in Zürich and Manila, and driving the adoption of Flowable’s AI capabilities. If you enjoy staying hands‑on while delivering solutions the business relies on every day, you’ll thrive in this role. Responsibilities
Own workflow design in Flowable—covering BPMN, DMN, and task orchestration—for Underwriting and Middle Office. Design screens and build custom React components beyond the native toolkit. Deliver integrations across pricing, records, ADEPT, risk, and SICS via Azure APIs and Event Hub. Lead the hands‑on replatforming from legacy to Flowable. Set standards and oversee vendor teams in Zürich and Manila through reviews. Embed AI capabilities, bringing LLMs into production workflows. Partner with product, business, and stakeholders to turn needs into scalable solutions. Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong hands‑on experience with BPMN workflow platforms (Flowable preferred; Camunda or Appway/FNZ also relevant). Proven ability to design clean, scalable, maintainable BPMN processes. Solid Java and Spring Boot expertise with production‑grade coding experience. Experience building screens in workflow/low‑code platforms and developing custom React components. Good understanding of REST APIs and event‑driven architectures; Azure APIM and Event Hub are a plus. Experience designing cloud‑native solutions (preferably Azure) with a focus on performance and reliability. Track record of guiding vendor teams through standards, reviews, and best practice. Exposure to AI/LLM integration in enterprise environments is an advantage. Insurance or reinsurance experience is a plus; strong willingness to learn the domain. Fluent English required; German is a plus. Strong ownership and entrepreneurial mindset. Benefits
Entrepreneurial culture, less hierarchy and more action. Opportunities to drive real change and shape our path ahead. Support and development platforms aligned with your growth. Values: collaborative, progressive, empowering, and responsible.
