Terminal Investment Manager
Main Responsibilities
Reporting to the Terminal Investment Director, the TerminalInvestment Manager is responsible forthe detailed execution andmonitoring of business plans for assigned terminals. He/Sheensures thatthe terminals operate in compliance with TiL standards and provides detailedfinancial and operational analyses to support strategic decision-making. Thisrole requires strong analytical, operational, and stakeholder managementskills, with regular travel to terminals within the portfolio.
This full-time position is based in our Headquarters in Geneva, Switzerland and the successful candidate is expected to travelfrequently to visit the terminals that fall within his/her portfolio.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Implement terminalbusiness plans in line with strategicobjectives.
- Monitor dailyoperational and financial performance of assigned terminals.
- Prepare analyses,performance reports, and recommendations for Deputy and Director.
- Collaborate withterminal management and joint venture partners to resolve operational or financial issues.
- Support budgeting,forecasting, and long-term planning processes.
- Contribute to processimprovements and enhancements in reporting and performance tracking.
- Travel to terminalsasrequiredto oversee operations, buildandmaintainrelationships with key stakeholders.
Minimum Qualifications/Experience/Skill:
- Financial degree or previous experience in a financial roles
- 3-5 yearsofexperience in a senior management role in thecontainer terminal industry.
- Previousexperiencein a managementpositionofa container terminal isdesired.
- Verygoodknowledge of the stakeholders of the containerterminal industry.
- Solidunderstandingof containerterminaloperationsandthemaritime/shippingindustry.
- Knowledgeoffinancialandoperationalperformancemetricsforterminals.
- Experience with business planning and investmentevaluation.
- Proficiency in English;additionallanguagesa plus.
- Stronganalyticalandproblem-solving skills.
- Effectivecommunicationand stakeholdermanagementabilities.
- Detail-oriented,results-driven, andorganized.
- Abilityto workindependentlyand handlemultiplepriorities.
- Flexibilityandwillingnesstotravelinternationally.
