Overview
In this role you will drive profitability insights for MSC Cargo through rigorous financial analysis of trades, services, and voyages. You will work with management and liner teams to identify profitability drivers, test scenarios, and present results. The position supports decision-making on pricing and service offerings and requires cross-functional collaboration in a global shipping environment. This is an opportunity to impact how MSC optimizes revenue in complex maritime operations.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Analyze MSC Trades and Services to identify profitability drivers across operational, commercial, and financial dimensions
- Propose actions to improve profitability to stakeholders based on analyses
- Simulate Net Results for new or modified services and present findings to Management or Liners
- Estimate Preliminary Voyage Profitability soon after vessels call the last port of load
- Assist Liners in benchmarking customers’ value globally or by trade
- Complete monthly business analysis as requested by Management
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Finance or Business Management or Maritime background
- 5-7 years of experience in a similar role
- Initial experience in the shipping or logistics sector
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- High accuracy and attention to detail
- Team-oriented with good communication skills
