Overview
In this role you will lead analysis of MSC’s sea and land revenues, benchmarking performance against industry standards to shape strategic decisions. You’ll transform data into clear insights for senior management and drive improvements in reporting. You’ll evaluate the financial impact of special conditions on customers to optimize revenue and support cross-functional planning. This position sits at the intersection of finance, analytics, and commercial strategy, offering the chance to influence pricing and profitability on a global scale. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead comprehensive analysis of MSC trade revenues across sea and land
- Develop and oversee benchmarking methodologies to compare MSC’s performance against industry standards and competitors
- Synthesize complex data into actionable insights for senior management and present findings clearly
- Analyze special conditions (THC, local charges, demurrage) and assess financial impact on profitability
- Establish and improve monthly KPI reporting framework and tools
- Lead ad-hoc analyses and act as strategic advisor to management
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across the organization for alignment on strategic initiatives
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Degree in Finance or Business Management or Maritime background
- 8-10 years of experience in a similar role
- Shipping experience mandatory
- Advanced Excel skills
