Overview
In this role you support financial institutions across DACH by applying MSCI’s Sustainability and Climate solutions to client needs. You will manage client engagements, drive adoption of AI-enabled tools, and help grow revenue through pre-sales and ongoing partner collaboration. You act as a trusted advisor on sustainability matters, bridging product teams and clients to unlock value in risk management, ESG integration, and climate investing. This is a client-facing role focused on impact, cross-functional teamwork, and delivering measurable outcomes.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Proactive account management, client communication, and contract value growth
- Pre-sales collaboration with the sales team using industry and product expertise
- Own the client experience post-onboarding with proactive support and market insights
- Champion AI-enabled solutions to optimize client interactions and drive innovation
- Serve as domain expert on MSCI Sustainability and Climate solutions and services
- Adopt solutions addressing banking/insurance use cases (ESG risk, ICAAP, underwriting)
- Build industry expertise to meet client objectives and guide adoption
- Coordinate with product, research, and development to create new solutions based on client feedback
- Manage relationships with senior stakeholders across banks/insurers and monitor satisfaction
- Lead AI and analytics integration into client engagement strategies and improve delivery
- Develop and execute account management plans, including travel for client visits
- Identify at-risk accounts and collaborate cross-functionally to retain revenue
Zentrale Anforderungen
- 4-8 years of experience in Sustainability and Climate topics within Banks, Insurance companies or consultancies
- Strong understanding of how sustainability factors impact financial markets, loan books, and insurance underwriting
- Knowledge of bank/insurance workflows and integration of sustainability data
- Fluency in German and English
- Excellent organizational, presentation and communication skills
- Proven project management experience (scope, resources, timelines, deliverables)
- Team player with ability to manage diverse, demanding client bases
- Integrity in business practices
- MBA, CFA charter or master’s degree preferred
- Knowledge of Sustainable Finance regulation advantageous
