Senior Director – Medical Affairs (m/f/d) Responsibilities Oversee the development and execution of the Medical Affairs strategy for the country, aligning with global, regional and local opportunities.
Create and maintain a high‑performing, highly compliant Medical Affairs organization.
Represent local opportunities, requirements and needs at the regional and/or global levels.
Represent the company in external activities that require presence of the country’s Senior Medical Leader.
Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure well‑functioning interactions between the company and external in‑country stakeholders.
Manage the entire portfolio, allocating resources and balancing global and local priorities.
Build capabilities through internal development and external hiring, fostering an empowering, compliant, collaborative and innovation‑focused environment.
Drive medical aspects of submissions for reimbursement or tenders for the entire portfolio of medicines and vaccines.
Qualifications M.
D. degree required; MPH, Ph.
D., MBA or qualification in Health Administration/Economics considered a plus.
Proven experience in global biopharmaceutical Medical Affairs and/or Clinical Development.
Strong people‑management experience running a large matrix organization of healthcare professionals.
Experience in oncology (strong plus), infectious diseases treatment, vaccines or specialty care.
Leadership skills with demonstrated organizational and goal‑setting abilities.
Business acumen, ethics and a credible reputation with the external scientific community.
Excellent communication skills, able to simplify and convey complex concepts orally and in writing.
Strong presentation skills and creativity in addressing strategic challenges.
Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to take calculated risks.
Experience working in global and regional medical affairs functions.
