Job Description The Medical Affairs team advances patient care through scientific exchange with external medical experts and industry professionals. The lead will oversee the Oncology department, providing leadership, strategy, and ensuring the scientific value of our products is realized.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership and direction to the Oncology team, including setting goals, developing, and implementing strategies, and managing performance
Oversee the development and implementation of strategic initiatives within the Oncology department
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and address opportunities for improvement
Monitor and analyze data to inform decision making and drive continuous improvement
Collate field insights that will be shared internally as appropriate
Manage budgets and resources within the Oncology department
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment
Ensure that all team members adhere to relevant policies, ethical guidelines, and regulatory requirements
Mentor and develop team members to reach their full potential
Qualifications
MD, Pharmacist or PhD in life science (MD is strongly preferred)
Industry experience in Medical Affairs is required, and therapeutic area experience is desirable
Strong strategic thinking skills and ability to develop and implement effective strategies
Demonstrated ability to manage and motivate a team
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in high‑performing teams and in a matrix organization
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
Strong organizational and time management skills
Strong ethics and integrity
Commitment to continuous learning and development
