Electrical Tester (MTM035) in Frankfurt am Main

MTM Engineering have opportunities for experienced Electrical Testers to join our growing testing teams on Data Centre projects across Europe. Reporting to the Lead QA/QC team member on site, you will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) electrical installations to ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations. The position operates on a 3/1 rotation across European project locations. Due to travel requirements, applicants must hold a valid EU passport, as visa sponsorship is not available.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-test inspections of MV and LV electrical installations and identify non-conformances.
• Compile and maintain defect reports in line with applicable national electrical regulations and standards.
• Perform testing, inspection, and verification of MV and LV electrical systems.
• Report hazards, defects, and non-conformances to project management and QA/QC leadership.
• Verify red-lined drawings and update cable schedules where changes have been made.
• Complete testing documentation in accordance with international standards and client requirements.
• Support the termination, inspection, and final verification of MV and LV cable installations.
• Assist with project close-out activities, issue resolution, and technical investigations.

Requirements

• Recognised Electrical Testing qualification.
• Proven experience testing medium voltage (MV) and low voltage (LV) electrical installations.
• Strong understanding of electrical regulations and relevant international standards.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and cable schedules.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Valid EU passport and willingness to work on a 3/1 rotation across Europe.
