Job Overview
MTS Meditel Service GmbH is a specialist in the field of homecare for the implementation of patient care programs for patients with rare diseases. We are looking for reinforcement of our nursing team of experienced registered nurses and nursing professionals in a diverse field of work in the area of homecare support in full-time or part-time (no nursing care).
Positions are located in Stuttgart, Tübingen, and Ulm for a Homecare Nurse / Patient Coach (m/w/d) with permanent employment (field service).
Responsibilities
- Support patients in patient care programs in the home environment
- Train patients and their relatives in the handling of medication administration until safe application
- Induction in the handling of medical aids (e.g., infusion pumps)
- Provide information on proper handling and storage of required medications and aids at the patient's home
- Prepare and administer intravenous injections in adults and children, if necessary
- Care of central venous accesses (e.g., port, Hickman, etc.)
- Coordinate closely with treating physicians or doctors
- Document visits performed
Qualifications
- Experience in the homecare field is advantageous
- Secure handling of subcutaneous and/or intravenous medication administration in adults and children
- Empathetic and responsible working approach in dealing with children and their relatives
