Your Role
As a Senior Systems Engineer for Current Sensing Modules (CSM), you will be instrumental in designing, developing, and integrating advanced sensing solutions tailored for automotive battery applications. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, focusing on the technical aspects of complex sensor projects, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative products that meet industry standards and customer expectations.
Your Responsibilities
- Participate in the design, architecture, and validation of sensor systems, ensuring compliance with automotive safety, performance, and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct simulations, modeling, and validation to support the development of reliable and high-performance sensor solutions.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and testing engineering teams to seamlessly integrate sensor solutions into vehicle platforms.
- Work closely with product management, marketing, and sales teams to understand customer needs and market trends, translating them into technical requirements.
Your Profile
- University degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
- Industry experience in systems engineering, preferably within the automotive sector or related industry, with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong understanding of battery systems and their electronic management systems, including system architecture, design principles, algorithm development, and validation.
- Proficiency in automotive electrical systems, communication protocols (like CAN, TCP/IP, automotive Ethernet), and familiarity with automotive standards (ISO 26262, ISO 21434, ASPICE).
- Experience with requirements management tools and methodologies, ensuring thorough documentation, traceability, and validation of system requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
