Your role

The role of the Technical Project Manager is crucial for the success of customer projects. Working closely with the Munich Electrification sales team, you will manage all technical aspects of an exciting customer project. You will be the single point of contact with our customer during the development phase. Your main contribution will be to make sure that all project milestones are met and products are shipped with the desired quantity and timing. You will be in charge of all customer meetings and workshops. As Technical Project Manager, you will also be responsible for troubleshooting and validation support. You will be fully aware of all BMS requirements and their impact at vehicle level, be able to understand customer needs and assess the impact of external requirements on our BMS platform. As we are a small team, you will work hands-on with the actual product. The Technical Project Manager will communicate the agreed and clearly defined requirements within our organization to ensure appropriate and timely implementation and validation by our hardware, software and production teams.

  • Communication with the customer
  • Coordination of system-level requirements with the customer and within ME
  • Product and feature definition with our customers from project acquisition to SOP
  • Milestone planning and tracking of schedule and deliverables
  • Product Owner role in the agile development process
  • Person responsible for the BMS sign-off / release to production

What you bring with you

  • University degree in an engineering discipline
  • Experience in the automotive industry and battery systems is a plus
  • Basic understanding of circuit designs and software development (embedded C/C++, Schematics, Layout)
  • Willingness to get your hands "dirty" and dig into technical topics
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills (technical and non-technical)
  • Highly skilled in time management, planning and escalation
  • Strong and professional communication skills in English; German is a plus
