Overview
As a Business Analyst, you translate business needs into IT requirements across the full project lifecycle and support global Casualty underwriting teams. You will lead requirements engineering, liaison between business, product, and engineering, and help shape solutions on the Microsoft Power Platform. You’ll drive process standardization and enable change management to ensure high-quality deliveries across regions. This role offers growth in a data-enabled platform with AI capabilities central to Munich Re’s strategy.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Translate business needs into testable IT requirements and user stories with acceptance criteria
- Lead requirements engineering activities including stakeholder interviews, process mapping, data/interface requirements, and non-functional requirements
- Act as liaison between stakeholders, product owners and engineering; manage backlog, scope, and traceability
- Design and configure prototypes on Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and Copilot Studio AI agents
- Support target architecture by challenging specifications for fit with processes and system landscape
- Prepare, execute and document User Acceptance Testing with defect management and sign-off
- Drive standardization of processes and system requirements across lines of business and regions
- Support change management with stakeholder communications and training content
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Years of IT project experience with emphasis on requirements engineering or business analysis
- Experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse) and building prototypes
- Understanding of Power Apps, Logic Apps, and Azure Functions; ability to choose appropriate design approaches
- GitHub familiarity; GitHub Actions or Power Platform Build Tools a plus
- Basic programming/scripting knowledge a plus
- UI/UX, data modeling, process modeling familiarity; BPMN or similar notation beneficial
- Knowledge of API-based integrations and custom connectors or Azure integration services an advantage
- Experience in (re)insurance underwriting products, processes, and markets a plus
- Fluent business English and German; willingness to travel internationally
- Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to simplify complexity and communicate across cultures
