Overview
As Senior Strategy Consultant, you will shape Munich Re Markets’ strategic agenda by identifying growth opportunities, assessing market dynamics, and guiding transformation initiatives. You collaborate with global leaders to define objectives, operating models, and roadmaps, delivering actionable recommendations that create long-term value. You work across borders on high-impact projects and present findings to senior management and the Board. This role blends rigorous analysis with hands-on project leadership in a global setting.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Conduct strategic assessments to identify growth, diversification, and operational improvements
- Analyze global market trends and competitive dynamics to inform planning
- Develop strategic frameworks, business cases, and actionable recommendations
- Define target operating models and implementation roadmaps
- Evaluate organizational structures and processes for improvements
- Lead strategic projects and transformation initiatives across a global environment
- Prepare insightful presentations and decision papers for senior management and Board
- Plan and facilitate strategy workshops and management discussions
- Travel internationally to support project execution across the organization
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree, preferably Master’s level, in business, economics, finance, engineering, or related field
- At least five to seven years of experience in strategy or management consulting, or business transformation
- Proven experience leading complex projects and managing senior stakeholders
- Experience in financial services, insurance, banking, asset management, or other regulated industries is advantageous
- Strong analytical and quantitative capabilities; ability to structure and solve complex problems
- Solid understanding of strategic planning methodologies and organizational transformation
- Strategic, commercially minded, proactive, and results-oriented
- Flexible, collaborative, and able to work across locations, cultures, and time zones
- Excellent English communication; German or additional languages are a plus; willingness to travel
