Overview

In this role you monitor capital markets and assess their impact on our portfolio, supporting hedging platform activities and reporting under IFRS 9/17. You will drive automation to scale processes, and contribute to cross-functional teams across risk management, reserving, and controls. You will develop tools primarily in R and SQL, with some Java, to improve accuracy and efficiency. This is a multinational, interdisciplinary environment with a mix of technical and actuarial challenges that shape our financial risk management strategy.

Verantwortungsbereiche

• Monitor capital markets and analyze performance drivers for the portfolio
• Support onboarding of reinsurance transactions, reporting, maintenance, and automation tasks for the hedging platform
• Perform IFRS 17 / non-hedged / internal reporting tasks as required
• Drive automation by identifying gaps, improving code, and building new tools (R/SQL)
• Contribute to QA processes and audit support
• Engage in team activities and project work

Zentrale Anforderungen

• University degree in mathematics, physics or computer science
• Ongoing or completed actuarial fellowship is a plus
• Advanced skills in R and SQL; some Java preferred
• At least 3 years in (re-)insurance, investment banking, consulting or related
• Knowledge of valuation models and IFRS 9/17; familiarity with Solvency II/SST/C-ROSS
• Experience with banking software or trading platforms, Calypso is a plus
• Project work experience; strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Proactive, team-oriented, fluent in English; German advantageous
