This role is about creating Target Architectures and Roadmaps for our ERGO International Entities within Group Technology. This means translating Business Strategies into Strategic Portfolios and Logical Architectures along our TARDev Process.The EA is accountable for proactively leading technology transformation activities and driving targeted business outcomes across all core business capabilities within the Portfolio mentioned above. The EA drives and supports initiatives and harmonization efforts transforming legacy processes/systems into central and group wide platforms and supports Technical Architects to design / deliver pattern and projects.Key goal of the role is to provide leadership, facilitation, analysis and design tasks required for the transformation of capabilities and corresponding application portfolio with a strong focus primary insurance. Together with the Technical Architecture team and the local delivery teams the EA creates deliverables that help develop target-state guidance (transformation roadmaps and standards, guidelines, patterns) across the enterprise, in order to enable business strategy and successfully deliver projects.Your jobDriving the roll out of EA relevant Norms along the onboarding of the International Entities, including App Portfolio Management and Rationalization.Developing Multiyear Roadmaps for ERGO International. The Roadmaps capture business initiatives and strategic themes that connect the enterprise business strategy and the IT portfolio. They also capture the enablers that reflect the architectural, technology, and business process initiatives that are necessary to enable those projects.Defining a project portfolio is a prerequisite for successful portfolio management in collaboration with ERGO International Tower and Business stakeholders. The enterprise architect drives strategic enterprise portfolio planning by considering also latest AI trends and opportunities, highlighting interdependencies among portfolio elements and their context, and ensuring effective stakeholder management.Participate in RfPs and/or PoCs, maintain collaboration channels with internal customers in different towers as well as working closely together with the Technical Architects and all other EA team members.Leading the analysis and transformation of the current technology and application portfolio to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvementWorking with EA peers (e.g., enterprise, business, solutions architects) to analyze enterprise business context (business strategy and trends), as well as change requirements in other enterprise architecture viewpoints to derive the technology architecture future state.Assisting with designing the governance, assurance and standards activities associated with ensuring enterprise technology architecture complianceIdentifying the organizational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures) and financial impact of the application portfolio and enterprise technology stackYour profileBachelor\’s degree in computer science, mathematics or relevant field from an accredited college or university; Master\’s degree from an accredited college or university preferred7+ years\‘ Experience Insurance Core Systems and technologies, including SAP or Guidewire, Finance and Solvency etc.Skilled in identifying optimization opportunities.
