Overview
In this role you join NewRe’s Risk Management division to oversee qualitative and quantitative risk topics, including ORSA, SST, and liquidity/IT risk frameworks. You will collaborate with accounting, reporting, and business teams to enhance risk governance and reporting in a senior, professional environment. Your work will shape critical risk analyses and ensure robust risk management across legal entities. This is a high-impact opportunity within a world-class reinsurer, offering broad scope and cross-functional influence.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Generate SST balance sheet and own its methodology in annual SST calculations
- Own the Financial Condition Report creation with Accounting, Controlling & Reporting, and business teams
- Operate and enhance derivative risk management and reporting
- Drive implementation of NewRe's liquidity risk management framework
- Drive IT Risk Management framework in collaboration with Munich Re Group
- Drive and support non-financial risk topics including Third Party Risk Management
- Contribute to other duties as reasonably expected for the role
Zentrale Anforderungen
- University degree in mathematics/science or related quantitative subject
- Minimum 7 years experience in risk management in (re)insurance or audit/consulting
- Ideally qualifications such as CERA, actuarial qualification, CFA
- Experience with capital modelling techniques and statistical methods used in risk management
- Experience with SST or SII reporting
- Enthusiastic about working in a highly experienced and committed team
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
