This role requires a commitment of 100% and is available to start immediately. The orchestra is offering one position for this role, which is governed by the collective agreement of the Gewandhausorchester.Auditions will take place in two rounds on February 22 and February 23, 2027, at the Gewandhaus zu Leipzig. Candidates will be reimbursed for travel costs within Germany for the second round of auditions, provided they submit their tickets. However, costs for overnight stays and accompanying pianists will not be covered.Applicants are required to prepare specific pieces for the audition, including works by Mozart, Strauss, Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Mahler, Mendelssohn, Ravel, and Wagner.
