Locum Ready is looking for Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners in By Strathcarron. This role offers flexible local sessions across a range of primary care services, giving you the option to choose work that matches your clinical strengths and preferred shift patterns.
You will support multiple primary care providers by delivering safe, autonomous ANP-led clinics. These may include urgent access appointments, routine reviews, minor illness assessments and triage-based sessions. Each booking is arranged to suit your availability, with clear expectations and consistent clinical support from service leads.
Key Responsibilities
- Running independent ANP clinics across various primary care settings
- Managing acute and minor illness presentations
- Telephone and face-to-face triage
- Prescribing safely within scope of competence
- Handling clinical actions such as results and follow-up
- Documenting accurately within each service’s clinical system
Requirements
- Level 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification
- V300 Independent Prescribing
- Experience in GP, urgent care, walk-in or community services
- Confident working autonomously in new environments
- Adaptability across different clinical systems
- Enhanced DBS
Working Pattern
- Fully flexible sessions
- Mix of weekdays, evenings or weekend work
- Ad-hoc, regular or block bookings available
