Position Overview

The Software Development, Product & Technology Lead (m/f/d) combines strategic product management with engineering leadership. This position bridges market requirements and execution by defining the software vision, directing product roadmaps, and providing hands-on functional and line management to the Software Development team.

Functioning as the central link between technical delivery and business stakeholders, this role drives the full software lifecycle, from requirement gathering to cross-functional releases, ensuring user-centered, high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Software Development team, providing both functional guidance and direct line management
• Serve as the Software Product Owner, defining, prioritizing, and managing the software backlog and feature content
• Establish and drive the strategic software roadmap, managing the product portfolio across the full lifecycle
• Translate market and customer insights into clear software product requirements focused on user experience
• Own end-to-end software releases and product launches, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including Hardware, Sales, and Service

Experience and Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
• Software Engineering: Proven experience developing, implementing, and maintaining software products across their entire lifecycle, with high proficiency in C#
• Skilled in leading agile teams (Scrum, Kanban) and managing workflows using ALM tools like Azure DevOps
• Analytical and strategic problem-solver with excellent communication skills
• Willingness to travel periodically for on-site client and partner engagements
