Location: Zürich (home office possible)Workload: 80-100%Start: Immediately or by agreement, permanentYour tasks:Own the product roadmap for your team's domain, from discovery and prioritisation through to delivery and measurementDefine, prioritise and maintain a well-structured backlog together with the team lead, designers and engineersLead product discovery: facilitate workshops, user research syncs and cross-team alignment before committing to solutionsPartner with stakeholders across Search, UX, Data Science and other product areas to align on goals and manage expectationsTrack and interpret product KPIs such as CTR, exit rate and conversion to drive data-informed decisionsCollaborate with engineers as peers, providing strategic direction while trusting the team's technical judgementIdentify and challenge architectural or process constraints that limit the product's ability to scaleKeep stakeholders informed with clear, transparent communication and contribute to team culture and knowledge sharingYour profile:3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager or in a similar digital product roleBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceExperience working in agile product teams and managing product backlogsSolid understanding of search technologies including relevance, ranking, indexing, filtering and query processingExperience using product analytics, interpreting A/B test results and making data-driven product decisionsFamiliarity with APIs and the ability to discuss technical concepts and trade-offs with engineersKnowledge of ML/AI-powered search such as vector search, hybrid search, embedding models and LLM-based retrieval is a strong plusExperience designing or optimising search experiences including filters, product listings and instant search is an advantageStrong ownership, collaboration and communication skills; fluent in English, German is a plus
