As Manager Technical Laboratory, you lead the team and develop the methods, expertise and processes it needs to deliver that support.Your main tasksLead the team and support its developmentPlan and coordinate the team’s activities, resources and budget in line with business prioritiesEnsure the team has the technical expertise and resources needed to carry out its workEstablish and improve measurement and test methods that support product development and the product lifecycleDevelop and maintain effective team processes, ensuring work meets applicable quality and documentation requirementsIdentify technical and operational challenges, make sound decisions and implement practical solutionsWork with other teams and stakeholders to coordinate activities and make effective use of expertise across the organisationEstablish and maintain relationships with external testing and measurement laboratories when neededYour profileRelevant technical education, such as vocational training or a university degree; further education in a relevant field is an advantageSeveral years of professional experience in a technical/ physical laboratory or a related industrial environmentStrong technical understanding and an interest in measurement and testingA methodical approach to problem-solving and the ability to make sound decisionsExperience coordinating work, resources, projects and stakeholders; previous people-management experience is an advantageClear communication and presentation skills, including the ability to explain technical topics to different stakeholdersFluent in English; German is an advantageExperience in a regulated or medical technology environment is an advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr
