Your mission
As an Engineering Manager (m/f/d) Team Lead at myneva, you will play a pivotal role in leading two dynamic teams of software engineers to deliver high-quality products and drive innovation. This role requires an experienced leader who is able to foster a culture of continuous improvement, manage cross-functional collaboration, and align engineering efforts with the company’s strategic goals:
- Lead, advise and mentor two teams of software engineers on technical/functional issues, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
- Develop actionable designs that address cross-product issues and align with multi-release product plans and functional area architecture
- Creation of project plans
- Improve product quality, safety and performance
- Development and implementation of process improvements
- Execution of agile project management processes
- Defining project goals, requirements and success criteria
- Identifying and reducing project risks, in close collaboration with stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Keeping an eye on industry trends and new technologies
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a similar field
- Very good and proven experience as a software engineer with at least 5 years of practical development experience
- 1 – 3 years of experience in a leadership or management position
- Strong technical skills in Java/.net, React, SQL and container technologies
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Advantageous: Agile/Scrum project management experience
- Advantageous: Experience with SaaS cloud products
- Passion for open source and developer tools
- Very good written and spoken German (min. language level C1)
