Engineering Manager (m/w/d) Team Lead

Your mission

As an Engineering Manager (m/f/d) Team Lead at myneva, you will play a pivotal role in leading two dynamic teams of software engineers to deliver high-quality products and drive innovation. This role requires an experienced leader who is able to foster a culture of continuous improvement, manage cross-functional collaboration, and align engineering efforts with the company\’s strategic goals:

• Lead, advise and mentor two teams of software engineers on technical/functional issues, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement
• Develop actionable designs that address cross-product issues and align with multi-release product plans and functional area architecture
• Creation of project plans
• Improve product quality, safety and performance
• Development and implementation of process improvements
• Execution of agile project management processes
• Defining project goals, requirements and success criteria
• Identifying and reducing project risks, in close collaboration with stakeholders
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Keeping an eye on industry trends and new technologies

Your profile

• Bachelor\’s or Master\’s degree in computer science, software engineering or a similar field
• Very good and proven experience as a software engineer with at least 5 years of practical development experience
• 1 – 3 years of experience in a leadership or management position
• Strong technical skills in Java/.net, React, SQL and container technologies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Advantageous: Agile/Scrum project management experience
• Advantageous: Experience with SaaS cloud products
• Passion for open source and developer tools
• Very good written and spoken German (min. language level C1)
