Our client is looking for an experienced Linux/Application/DevOps Engineer.
Responsibilities
- Operation of applications in heterogeneous environments
- Configuration and troubleshooting of applications
- Ensuring the availability of applications (SLA/OLA)
- Monitoring, optimization, and documentation of operational processes
- Automation using scripts (Ansible, Python, Bash…)
- Project Team Member
Qualifications
- At least four years of experience in administering applications in a Linux enterprise environment
- Experience in dealing with application management running on Linux
- Secure handling in heterogeneous infrastructures (ESX, Hyper-V, Kubernetes)
- Very good knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
- Experience automating using scripting (Ansible, Bash, Python…)
- Good knowledge of Tomcat, Gitlab, Podman/Docker, Ansible, Bash technologies
- Team player with an interest in new technologies and training.
- Willingness for call duties
- Language skills in German and English
- Swiss citizenship, B or C-Permit
