SAP EWM L1 Support / SAP EWM Functional Consultant (Warehouse Operations)

Location: Alzey, Germany (On-site, 5 days/week)

Shift: 6 AM – 10 PM

Contract: 12 months

About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM L1 Support professional to join our warehouse operations team in Alzey. This is an on-site role, supporting day-to-day EWM operations, liaising with business teams, and resolving L1 issues.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide Level 1 support for SAP EWM and warehouse operations
• Collaborate with business teams and customers to resolve operational issues
• Raise incidents and coordinate with IT and vendor teams for resolution (SNOW ticketing tool)
• Support integration of EWM with warehouse automation (ASRS, AGV, conveyors, etc.) and MES systems
• Assist with Change Requests and informal testing
• Propose workarounds for urgent issues and maintain customer confidence

Must-Have Skills & Experience:

• SAP EWM hands‑on experience (ECC EWM 9.5 / S/4 HANA 1909 or newer) – minimum 3 years
• Experience with warehouse operations and customer‑facing support
• Knowledge of Inventory Management (IM) and EWM processes
• Experience integrating EWM with automated systems and MES
• Familiarity with SD, MM, PP, QM integration
• Understanding of regulated environments (GxP, SOX)

Nice‑to‑Have:

• Basic debugging or custom code understanding
• Experience with multiple interfaces (PI, ALE, REST)
