Network Architect

Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Enterprise Network & Security Architect. The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex Data Center and Remote site LAN integrations, carve-outs resulting from mergers and demergers, ensuring they meet the organization\’s current and future needs for scalability, performance, security, and reliability.

The role involves collaboration with other Architects and solution leads across workstreams to understand requirements and develop solutions.

Key Responsibilities (project requirements)

• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the current landscape and future roadmap quickly.
• Understand ongoing merger and integration projects, including carve-out initiatives.
• Take over from existing Network & Security Architects on ongoing projects to continue development and support of solutions and roadmaps.
• Create network blueprints focused on scalability, security, and reliability.
• Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning, including capacity assessment.
• Develop technology roadmaps and execute hardware and software upgrades.
• Research and recommend new technologies, solutions, and strategies based on customer needs.
• Lead client discussions for requirements gathering, solution driving, and troubleshooting.
• Participate in workshops and lead the technology and architecture efforts for the network & security stream.
• Create integration and technology roadmaps for LAN, WAN, and Security.
• Collaborate with leads, architects, and partners involved in the integration program.
• Design solutions, develop High-Level Designs (HLDs), Low-Level Designs (LLDs), and implementation plans for approval.
• Guide the project team to convert approved solutions into billable projects, including creating Statements of Work (SoW) and commercial proposals.
• Handover solutions to the project delivery team for execution after sign-off.
• Support and oversee project implementation to ensure timely delivery.
• Manage routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP.
• Implement SD-WAN solutions (e.g., Velocloud).
• Configure wireless solutions (e.g., Aruba), LAN (Aruba), NAC (Aruba ClearPass), and remote access (F5 APM).
• Design business partner access solutions.
• Implement PKI solutions.
• Integrate networks with OT/IOT, Cloud Infrastructure, and third-party IAAS, SAAS, PAAS services.
