YOUR MISSION
Your main goal will be to ensure seamless People Operations processes, enabling n8n to remain a compliant and high-functioning employer while enhancing employee experience.
Key responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle Management (50%)
Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes, including contracts, background checks, and equipment setup.
Collaborate with managers and onboarding buddies to support new hire integration. -
HR Operations and Support (20%)
Handle HR queries, benefits, payroll coordination, and Germany-specific administrative tasks.
Partner with Remote.com on employment matters and ensure compliance with local regulations. -
Employee Experience and Engagement (15%)
Organize team-building events, milestone celebrations, and employee feedback initiatives.
ď¸ Plan and execute company off-sites, including logistics and travel arrangements. -
Automation, Office Management, and Compliance (15%)
Manage Berlin office logistics, maintenance, and supplies.
Streamline People processes with automation and support compliance efforts like SOC 2.
REQUIREMENTS
Must-have
3-5 years of experience in a People Operations or HR Administration role in fast-paced, high-growth tech companies.
Knowledge of German labor laws : You are able to support the team with questions about visas, holiday, sick leave, benefits, payroll, social security, health insurance, etc., and keep n8n compliant.
Attention to detail : Youâre the kind of person who spots typos, double-checks the details, and makes sure nothing slips through the cracks.
Tech-savviness : You are proficient in using HR and operations software.
Process optimization : You excel at identifying and implementing efficient workflows, especially using automation.
Startup mindset : You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy taking initiative in projects beyond your roleâs direct scope.
Bilingual : You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken.
Berlin-based : You are located in Berlin and willing to work from the office once a week.
Nice-to-have
Familiarity with international labor laws: You have some understanding of regulations in other European or U.S. jurisdictions.
Remote work experience : You are comfortable and experienced in remote-first environments.
Knowledge of compliance frameworks : You are familiar with SOC 2 or other security standards.
