National Youth Advocate Program, INC is seeking a Bilingual Field Operations Manager for the Columbus, Ohio area. The Field Operations Manager (FOM) is responsible for coordinating logistical and on-the-ground support to Home Study and Post Release Services staff actively deployed within a region to provide services to released unaccompanied children per Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) requirements.
The FOM provides direct supervision and oversight of deployment efforts within a region, engaging the work of Deployment Coordinators, Community Service Managers, and Anti-Human Trafficking and Child Exploitation Coordinators with support from Case Aides. The FOM must be experienced in coordinating safe logistics of travel and lodging for staff and ensuring rapid deployment of resources within a region.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program's Mission, Values, and Philosophies.
- Providing direct oversight and management of deployment efforts within a region.
- Coordinating safe logistics of travel and lodging for staff.
- Ensuring staff compliance with ORR's HS/PRS services provision.
- Hiring and training new staff and supervising the work of Deployment Coordinators and other staff.
- Ensuring excellence in documentation and completion of reports.
- Establishing working relationships with community-based organizations responsible for social services.
- Providing effective communication by staff with care providers and ORR stakeholders.
- Ensuring the protection of Personal Identifiable Information (PII) and confidentiality of information.
Minimum qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, human services, or related fields with at least 3 years of progressive employment experience demonstrating supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of logistics of staff deployment and local community social services.
- Understanding of Human Trafficking and identifying human trafficking concerns.
- Highly proficient in Spanish or access to qualified interpreters.
- Willingness to work flexible and non-traditional hours.
Physical demands include manual dexterity, prolonged periods of sitting and standing, and occasional lifting (up to 25 pounds). The qualified candidate will follow a team concept and support agency goals while being respectful and sensitive to persons from various backgrounds.
