Chartering Manager (m/f/d) Hamburg — Full time — Permanent

Responsibilities:

• Negotiating freight and contract details on a fixed basis with customers
• Calculating freight rates
• Creating indicators based on customer requirements
• Developing new accounts and markets
• Maintaining existing customer relationships

Your Profile:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in shipping or business with relevant experience, or a successfully completed apprenticeship as a shipping merchant (m/f/d)
• Ideally 2 to 3 years of professional experience in the shipping industry
• Proficient in MS Office applications, especially Excel
• Very good English skills in both written and spoken forms
• Knowledge of geography and a good understanding of numbers
• Reliability, teamwork, and initiative
• Independent, structured, and meticulous working style
