Overview
In this role you will lead HSE across a major 27MW Data Centre project in Frankfurt, driving a proactive safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance. You’ll coordinate with project leadership, subcontractors and client stakeholders to deliver high safety and environmental standards on site. This is a visible, influential position within a trusted M&E contractor with exposure to Europe’s growing data centre market. The role operates on a 10/4 rotation with accommodation and flights provided.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead the implementation of the project EHS management system across site
- Drive a strong, proactive safety culture across the project
- Lead regular site inspections, audits and compliance reviews
- Review RAMS, method statements, SOPs and project risk assessments
- Coordinate HSE requirements across site teams, subcontractors and project stakeholders
- Manage project HSE plans, safety files and EHS documentation
- Lead and attend project EHS coordination meetings
- Support incident investigations, corrective actions and lessons learned
- Monitor training, competency and site compliance requirements
- Track and close out audit and inspection findings through relevant digital platforms
- Prepare HSE reports and support KPI reporting
- Work closely with project management, subcontractors and client representatives
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and practical safety solutions on site
- Represent the contractor professionally during audits, inspections and client engagements
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Substantial experience in an HSE, EHS, Health & Safety or Safety Lead position
- Strong background within construction and site-based project delivery
- Experience working within M&E, MEP, building services or Data Centre environments highly advantageous
- Strong understanding of construction health and safety legislation and regulatory requirements
- Experience conducting site audits, inspections and risk reviews
- Strong experience reviewing RAMS, method statements, SOPs and risk assessments
- Relevant third-level qualification in Environmental Health & Safety or a related discipline
- IOSH or equivalent EHS accreditation
- Experience with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001
- Experience managing HSE requirements across contractors and subcontractors
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with digital construction/EHS platforms such as Procore, EIDA, Kianda or similar
- Fluent English language skills
