Overview
In this Planning Manager role, you will lead the planning function for a portfolio of high-value data centre projects in Frankfurt, shaping schedules and resource delivery. You will mentor the planning team and partner with senior leadership, commercial teams and clients to align programmes with contracts, milestones, and budgets. You’ll drive risk identification, change impact analysis and recovery planning, enabling on-time project delivery in a complex, mission-critical environment. This senior position offers strategic influence within an established international contractor and exposure to a growing data centre pipeline.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead and develop the planning function across multiple high-value data centre projects
- Mentor and develop a team of planners and promote best practices
- Oversee resource-loaded and cost-loaded programmes using Primavera P6 and MS Project
- Review and approve project schedules prior to client submission
- Ensure programmes align with contracts, milestones and budgets
- Identify risks, critical path issues and mitigation strategies
- Lead programme impact analysis for design changes, variations and delays
- Monitor progress, provide forecasts for labour, cost and completion
- Support tender teams with planning input and strategy
- Produce planning reports and dashboards for senior leadership and stakeholders
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Engineering/Construction Management/Quantity Surveying/Project Management or related discipline (degree qualified)
- Experience planning in construction, M&E, data centre, infrastructure or similar complex environments
- Management experience leading a planning team on a data centre project
- Strong M&E contracting experience desirable
- Advanced Primavera P6 essential; good MS Project knowledge
- Experience developing and managing baseline programmes, lookaheads and progress updates
- Strong knowledge of critical path analysis, sequencing, risk, change control and delay analysis
- Experience planning risk management and mitigation strategies
