Your Role:
As a UI/UX Designer (m/f/d), your mission is to design an interactive UI for our geoinformatics team who will be developing Qt-based applications in QGIS, a leading GIS Software, and other 3D tools. Your main objective in this role is to collaborate with other geoinformatic developers to gather user interactive requirements and use cases to create a clean UI across all platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement high-quality UI designs and further developments for the QT applications.
- Collaborate with the product and development team to understand and implement requirements.
- Conduct user research and testing to continuously improve the user experience.
- Maintain and develop our design system to ensure a consistent user experience.
Qualifications
- Sound knowledge of UI design; advanced knowledge of UX design is an advantage.
- Experience with common design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
- A good understanding of usability principles and experience in designing user-centered products.
- Creativity, innovative spirit, and the ability to solve complex problems.
- Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
- Experience with 2D and 3D graphics development is a plus.
