  • Assembly of mechanical and electrical sub‑assemblies and devices, in accordance with assembly instructions, drawings and bills of materials
  • Commissioning and testing at device and system level, as well as carrying out interface tests in accordance with test specifications
  • Timely processing and reporting of production orders
  • Troubleshooting simple electronic assemblies/devices using circuit diagrams/signal diagrams, for both new and existing equipment, as well as their repair and documentation in SAP
  • Modification of PCBs in accordance with assembly instructions, conversion instructions, drawings and bills of materials
  • Recording of one's own work to document results, e. g. preparation of production, test and findings reports

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field
  • Professional experience in the assembly of electronic assemblies
  • A good knowledge of German
  • Basic knowledge of English (spoken and written)
  • Basic knowledge of MS Office and SAP
  • Several years' professional experience in the assembly of electronic sub‑assemblies
  • Several years' professional experience in the testing of electronic sub‑assemblies
  • A goal‑oriented approach to work, as well as an open‑minded attitude and the ability to work well in a team

  • Your Responsibilities
  • Mechanical assessment: Visual inspection of incoming customer components, damage assessment and documentation of the current condition.
  • Mechanical machining: Carrying out complex mechanical repair work on housings and components (e. g. drilling out damaged screws, inserting threaded inserts such as Helicoils).
  • Routine mechanical maintenance: Carrying out standardised maintenance, adjustment and calibration work on the mechanical components of electronic assemblies.
  • Test cable production: Independent manufacture, assembly and testing of customer‑specific test cables and cable harnesses in accordance with drawings and circuit diagrams.
  • Special connection techniques: Application of traditional and less common wiring techniques, in particular wire‑wrap connections, for the modification or repair of backplanes and assemblies.

Your profile

  • A high degree of care, precision and quality awareness
  • Successfully completed apprenticeship in precision engineering, mechatronics, electronics for devices and systems, or a comparable qualification with a strong practical focus.
  • Professional experience: Substantial experience in the mechanical machining of small parts (drilling, thread cutting, reworking) as well as in cable assembly.
  • Proficiency in the use of repair and threading systems (e. g. Helicoil).
  • Experience with wire‑wrap technology is a major advantage.
  • Ability to read technical drawings, circuit diagrams and wiring lists.
  • Working style: A strong focus on quality, a delicate touch when handling sensitive electronic components, and a structured, independent approach to fault analysis (diagnosis).
