Tasks

  • Specialist management of interdisciplinary project teams in the field of ILS/LSA (specialist departments, customers and UANs)
  • Progress monitoring of internal and external work packages with ILS components
  • Coordination, implementation, planning and control of ILS management in projects
  • Management of subcontractors with ILS shares in coordination with Purchasing (functional responsibility)
  • Sustained maintenance of customer contacts and participation in negotiation meetings
  • Sub-project management of all logistical aspects in the project and after sales
  • Preparation of project-related documents (ILS/LSA plans, training and maintenance documents)
  • Realisation of ILS workshops (internal and external)
  • Implementation, planning and control of ILS/LSA management in projects
  • Responsibility for and implementation of availability, reliability and maintainability analyses (RAM)
  • Determination of spare parts requirements
  • Creation of material maintenance and obsolescence management concepts and optimisation of spare parts requirements
  • Creating technical-logistical concepts (TLB) and coordinating their implementation
  • Supporting the sales department in the acquisition phase for all relevant ILS aspects
  • Preparation of offers in the area of after sales in coordination with the sales department
  • Ensuring the testability and maintainability of products and systems in the operating phase
  • Ensuring targeted communication with internal and external partners

Requirements

  • Management experience
  • Many years of experience and in-depth knowledge in the areas of ILS / LSA / LSAR, MIL-STD-1388-2A/2B, ASD specifications and/or equivalent procedures
  • Experience in the preparation of logistical parts of technical offers
  • Experience in military maintenance and its logistics structures
  • Experience in the field of technical documentation, e.g. S1000D and S2000M
  • Very good command of written and spoken English
  • Ability to analyse design/construction documents and process them with regard to logistical issues
  • Very good organisational and communication skills
  • Independent and autonomous way of working
  • Entrepreneurial thinking and behaviour
  • Confident and convincing demeanour and strong assertiveness
  • Very good team and team leadership skills as well as a high sense of responsibility
  • Willingness to travel worldwide
