Tasks:
- "Work on the next generation of a communication gateway for modern intrusion and fire alarm systems;
- Analyze existing hardware and system architectures, build expertise on the current gateway solution, and identify existing development artifacts as well as future development needs;
- Identify and evaluate the technical differences between existing products and the future gateway;
- Aligning technical concepts with relevant system and customer requirements and supporting the development of a future-proof hardware architecture;
- Supporting hardware development from requirements analysis through circuit design and simulation to verification, approval, and transition to series production;
- Working closely with hardware architects, software developers, and other project stakeholders;
- Working in an interdisciplinary project team and coordinating with national and international development partners to implement innovative solutions for our intrusion detection technology;
Requirements:
- "A successfully completed degree in electrical engineering, telecommunications engineering, or a comparable technical field;
In-depth knowledge of hardware development for electronic systems; - Experience in circuit design, circuit simulation, layout design, and component selection;
- Good knowledge of analog and digital circuits;
- Experience with common development and simulation tools (e.g., PSpice or comparable tools);
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner;
- Analytical thinking, initiative, and strong teamwork skills;
- Good understanding of technical relationships and complex systems;
- Good written and spoken German and English skills for working in an international development environment;
