Overview
In this role you will implement and support system integration projects in a military context, configuring radio, networks, and related components. You will customize setups to customer needs, update firmware and software, and document work while ensuring quality and compliance. You’ll perform tests, analyze faults, and train customers, contributing to ongoing development of deployed systems. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Implement and support system integration projects in a military environment
- Install and configure radio, communications, and network components on pre-installed hardware
- Customize and optimize system configurations per customer requirements
- Update firmware and operating systems and apply patches
- Document work and maintain technical manuals
- Conduct functional and integration tests, fault analysis and troubleshooting
- Train customers on installed systems
- Assist with further development and optimization of deployed systems
- Advise customers on technical requirements and potential improvements
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Completed vocational training as IT specialist for system integration or digital networking, or comparable technical training / Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering or IT
- Good knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Understanding of virtualization technologies
- Proficiency with documentation tools and experience with ticket and project management systems
- Knowledge of software and hardware integration
- Demonstrable experience in operating complex IP network structures (IP addressing, routing, and switching)
- Experience with wireless communication systems
- Basic knowledge of electronics and IT system cabling
- High degree of attention to detail, precision, and quality awareness
- Very good written and spoken German and good written and spoken English
- Valid Class B and BE driver's license
- Willingness to travel frequently
- Security clearance may be required under SÜG
