Overview
Senior Project Manager for a major subproject in a large-scale data center program. You will lead two teams responsible for system concepts and designs and coordinate IT service development with other subprojects and the customer. You drive planning, delivery, and governance while ensuring timely requirements implementation. The role sits in a defence-focused field and requires close collaboration with project leadership and stakeholders. Verantwortungsbereiche
- Lead medium-sized and complex projects through end-to-end PM lifecycle
- Organize and manage project teams using classical and agile methodologies
- Coordinate two teams for system concepts and designs
- Ensure timely requirements delivery in alignment with other subprojects and customer
- Create and maintain project plans, schedules, and documentation
- Ensure compliance with project-specific requirements and governance processes
- Take responsibility for the successful delivery of the subproject
- Ensure adherence to IT service development processes and drive IT service development within the project
- Coordinate teams and stakeholders involved in IT service development
- Maintain structured project status reporting and management updates
- Perform risk and quality management, document lessons learned, and implement improvements
- Continuously improve project processes and working methods
Zentrale Anforderungen
- IPMA Level D or comparable project management certification
- Scrum Master I and II certifications
- ITIL Foundation certification, v3 or higher
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
- Knowledge of IT Service Management and IT service development processes
- Experience with Jira or comparable PM tools, Microsoft Office, and MS Project
- At least 5 years leading complex projects (>1 year) with >=20 team members
- At least 2 years in defence-related digitalization projects or comparable public administration
- At least 5 years IT Project Manager experience with classical and hybrid/agile methodologies
- At least 2 years in Scrum Master role within agile or hybrid projects
- At least 2 years experience in data center or data center infrastructure projects
- Proven experience in IT service development projects
- Language: German C1, English B1
- Willingness to travel up to 30%, up to 70% mobile work
- Security screening SÜ2 required
