Overview
In this role you will design and maintain complex test environments and execute system and acceptance tests to verify requirements in defense-related projects. You will work closely with the Integration & Validation Team to ensure robust verification across IP networks and voice/data communications. You will analyze results, troubleshoot network issues, and document outcomes to support product readiness. This position offers a hands-on opportunity to shape testing across a multinational engineering environment and contribute to innovative defense solutions.

Verantwortungsbereiche
- Set up, maintain, and evolve intricate test environments
- Design system and acceptance tests from functional, technical, or operational requirements
- Perform field, system, and acceptance testing
- Document and organize test results for traceability
- Analyze network protocols and troubleshoot complex IP networks
- Collaborate closely with Development and Validation teams to ensure quality
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a comparable STEM field (or equivalent technical training)
- Several years of software testing experience with verification/validation activities
- Proficiency with IP networks (IPv4/v6, ICMP, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS)
- Solid knowledge of routing and switching; OSPF and BGP
- Experience with tunneling tech (L2TP, GRE, VPN) and SIP/RTP
- Experience with Jira X-Ray, IBM Doors, Wireshark, Oracle VM
- Knowledge of wired (Ethernet, EtherCAT) and wireless (VHF/UHF, LTE, SatCom) comms is a plus
- Desirable: ISTQB Certified Tester Foundation Level
- Strong German and English skills
