The position is part of a software engineering and application integration environment developing digital products for complex, security-sensitive operational processes.
The solutions support critical information flows, structured decision-making, and digitally enabled business operations.
Product development is carried out in agile Dev Ops teams with a strong focus on continuous improvement, automation, cloud technologies, connected systems, and emerging technologies.
The role takes ownership of the UX/UI perspective throughout the complete product development lifecycle of a complex B2B or enterprise application, from requirements analysis and concept development through implementation, rollout, validation, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
The Senior UX/UI Designer will be responsible for
- Analysing functional, business, and technical requirements and translating them into user-centred UX/UI concepts.
- Taking ownership of the user experience across the complete lifecycle of a complex enterprise application.
- Planning and conducting qualitative and quantitative UX research activities.
- Identifying user needs, usage contexts, pain points, and optimisation opportunities.
- Conducting and evaluating user interviews, stakeholder workshops, usability tests, and feedback sessions.
- Creating user journeys, user flows, information architectures, wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes.
- Designing intuitive and consistent interfaces for complex specialist and B2B applications.
- Using Figma to develop design concepts, prototypes, reusable components, and interaction patterns.
- Building, maintaining, and continuously improving design systems and component libraries.
- Applying usability, accessibility, and inclusive design principles throughout the design process.
- Collaborating closely with business departments, product owners, software engineers, and other stakeholders.
- Supporting development teams during implementation and ensuring that the delivered solution reflects the approved UX/UI concepts.
- Reviewing implemented interfaces and ensuring a consistent, high-quality user experience.

- A completed university degree in UX Design, Interaction Design, Communication Design, Media Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, or a comparable discipline.
- Alternatively, a comparable professional qualification supported by substantial relevant experience.
- At least five years of professional experience in UX/UI design.
- Strong knowledge of user-centred design, interaction design, information architecture, and UX research.
- Confident and professional use of Figma.
- Strong understanding of usability and accessibility principles.
- Practical experience with Jira and Confluence in agile product development environments.
- Basic knowledge of agile delivery methods such as Scrum and Kanban.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating relevant UX/UI projects, preferably in B2B, enterprise, or specialist application environments.
