Purpose The Assembly Electronics Technician is responsible for assembling, testing, commissioning, and maintaining electronic systems and components. This role ensures that products and installations meet quality and functional requirements while supporting troubleshooting activities, system integration, and continuous collaboration with internal stakeholders to achieve operational excellence. Tasks Perform assembly and conduct commissioning and functional tests in the lab Documenting the assembly process and preparing assembly and test reports Integrating new modules and components into existing software systems Coordinating with internal clients to clarify and correct incomplete or incorrect assembly instructions Maintaining order and system data in close collaboration with clients and management Assisting with fault analysis and troubleshooting on new installations in collaboration with other departments Qualifications & requirements Completed training in the field of electronics (e.g., electronics technician for devices and systems, electrical engineer, mechatronics technician). Several years of professional experience in electronics, ideally in the repair and maintenance of electrical equipment Experience with commissioning, testing, and measurement equipment Strong communication skills in German and English Experience with MS Office and ERP systems; familiarity with SAP is preferred Skillset Strong knowledge of electronics assembly, troubleshooting, and repair techniques Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation Problem-solving and analytical skills for fault diagnosis and corrective actions Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards and documentation accuracy Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders Organizational skills to manage system data and maintain accurate records Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies, systems, and processes
