Overview
In this role, you ensure reliable operation of electrical equipment and systems, supporting smooth, trouble-free production. You work within a maintenance/automation context to implement modifications, install and commission components, and address faults. You will collaborate across shifts to monitor, maintain, and document activities, and you will hand over fully functional systems with user guidance. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to safe, efficient plant operations and to develop hands-on expertise in electrical maintenance and automation.
Verantwortungsbereiche
- Design modifications and extensions to electrical systems
- Install and commission systems and components
- Identify and rectify faults
- Install power lines
- Install and set up machine and drive systems and their pneumatic/hydraulic components
- Assemble and wire switchgear and automation systems
- Perform electrical measurements, test and commissioning of building services
- Program and adapt systems, verify function and safety devices
- Hand over systems to users and provide operation instructions
- Monitor and maintain systems; conduct regular inspections
- Take immediate action on malfunctions respecting safety requirements
- Isolate and rectify malfunctions and analyze causes
- Document activities using specified forms and test documents; pass on information to next operator
Zentrale Anforderungen
- At least 3 years of specialized vocational training
- Professional experience in automation and maintenance of processing and special-purpose machines
- Willingness to work in a 3-shift/4-shift system
- Flexibility, commitment, and ability to work under pressure
