If you aspire to be part of a company that is transforming how the world designs, builds, and manages spaces, Nemetschek offers a great opportunity.We are seeking a Head of Business Development to increase awareness of the Nemetschek Group and its brands within the public sector.Key Responsibilities:Strategic Engagement and Government RelationsDesign and lead the group\’s government relations strategy in Germany initially, expanding across EMEA, aligning with global and regional priorities.Engage with government-owned construction companies, regulatory bodies, real estate and infrastructure managers.Monitor legislative developments; assess impacts and advise leadership.Identify key policymakers; develop actionable plans.Implement government relations strategies to communicate organizational objectives.Promote digitization and AI in construction to regulators and government entities.Consult with regional and national government stakeholders on construction and operations.Relationship Building and RepresentationAct as the primary liaison with relevant stakeholders, fostering partnerships.Maintain relationships with policymakers, government agencies, and bodies like the EU Commission.Represent Nemetschek at forums, hearings, and international summits to advocate policies and increase visibility.Business Development and SalesCollaborate with sales teams to drive government-related revenue, pipeline, and opportunities.Identify and pursue government projects aligned with sales strategies.Support the closing of government contracts and partnerships.Product Roadmap for Government AgenciesProvide expertise to enhance product features for government standards.Work with product management and development teams to meet government needs.Share insights on emerging government sector requirements.Advocacy, Thought Leadership, and Public AffairsCreate advocacy messages for government officials and educational leaders.Coordinate with marketing to publish thought leadership content.Develop case studies on successful government collaborations.Candidate Profile:10+ years in government relations or public sector business development, with at least 5 years in consultative selling.Deep understanding of government investment plans and stakeholder management.Knowledge of legislative and procurement processes, ideally in AEC software.Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.Fluent in English and German.We offer a diverse, motivating environment with opportunities for personal growth, a culture of flat hierarchies, flexible work arrangements, and health benefits.Apply promptly!
