Project Manager Systems Retrofit (m/f/d)

We are looking for a Project Manager Systems Retrofit (m/f/d) with a main responsibility in executing and running navigation & communication projects. The preferred location for this position is Hamburg, Germany.

What you will be doing as a Project Manager (m/f/d) Systems your work will include:

1. Technical and commercial review of order documents
2. Definition of the technical concept and maintaining the scope in SAP
3. Cost planning, design and maintaining of work breakdown structure
4. Contract schedule and cost control – profit and loss responsibility
5. Preparation and management of work packages (e.g. commissioning, design, engineering, production, development, training)
6. Change order management
7. Ensuring proper and timely project logistics
8. Assessing and manage potential risks of a project (technical & commercial)
9. Supporting the sales department in the preparation of quotations / sales opportunities (partial on site)
10. Regular reporting of project status & performance
11. Holding and attending project meetings with internal and external stakeholders
12. Being first point of contact for partners & customers
13. Leading the retrofit team on board during the conversion phase (partial on site)
14. Apply Project Management best practices. The tasks can also be adjusted based on your individual skills and interests. You’ll be working as a part of Navigation Retrofit team with diverse expertise.

To be successful in this role we expect you to have:

1. M.Sc. or B.Sc. in Engineering and/or Business or another relevant field
2. Project management experience in international project business
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German
4. Structured and practical way of working (organization & time management)
5. Teamwork mentality, excellent social and intercultural skills
6. Readiness & willingness to travel internationally
7. Confidence for decision-making
