In this position, you are part of the Quality Assurance Team and ensure product quality through precise chemical analyses, and contribute to the implementation of development projects. You work closely with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to the quality and innovation of our products and the further development of analytical methods. You work at the interface between analytics, quality assurance, and product development in a versatile working environment with many development opportunities.
Responsibilities
Conduct chemical analyses with a focus on protein analytics (Kjeldahl, Dumas, LDS-PAGE, BLG-ELISA, HPLC-SEC, and residual enzyme analytics)
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and actively discuss and interpret results
Supervise and train trainee laboratory technicians
Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
Assist with the introduction and validation of new methods and equipment
Qualifications
Completed training as a Laboratory Technician / EFZ Chemie or comparable qualification
Strong knowledge in analytical methods and safe laboratory practices
Experience in the food industry or food chemistry to support quality and innovation
Team‑oriented and communicative personality with structured, self‑directed work style and good Microsoft Office skills
Good German and English language skills
Experience in training trainees is an advantage
Strong Excel and Word skills
More than 3 years of work experience
Education: Vocational education and training with the Swiss Federal VET Diploma or equivalent
