Verantwortungsbereiche
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance aroma and taste research and develop prototypes
- Communicate findings and proposals to stakeholders including institute heads and project managers
- Propose new projects aligned with research goals and business needs
- Lead project activities to meet objectives and timelines, coordinating with sensory science and related experts
- Manage project budgets and ensure knowledge transfer to Product Technology Centers
- Engage with diverse thought leaders to generate ideas and explore external partnerships
- Identify technical gaps and opportunities and stay updated on trends in flavor science
- Monitor latest developments in flavor science and share relevant external technologies
Zentrale Anforderungen
- Ph.D. in food, flavor or analytical chemistry with knowledge of data science
- Research and applied science experience in flavor sciences with sensory benefits
- Laboratory experience focused on volatile and non-volatile compounds (GC-MS, GC-O, LC/MS)
- Proficiency in Python and R; knowledge of statistical methods (PLS, PCA) and data visualization
- Basic knowledge of sensory techniques
- Ability to translate complex results for diverse stakeholders
- Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
