Title & Role
Job Title: Growth Marketer
Department / Team: Marketing
Location: Munich, Germany (Remote option available)
Employment Type: Full‑time employee
About The Role
A broad, senior individual contributor role for a marketer who thinks in systems. Owns performance marketing, marketing automation, web operations, analytics, and attribution – building the data infrastructure that connects Netop’s marketing activity to pipeline and revenue.
Key Responsibilities
Performance Marketing
- Plan, execute, and optimize paid campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, and other demand‑generation channels
- Own budget allocation across channels; define bidding strategies and audience targeting with a focus on pipeline contribution
- Build and maintain landing pages aligned to campaign objectives; run structured A/B tests to improve conversion
- Manage agency relationships and external vendors where relevant, with full accountability for output quality
Digital Attribution & Retargeting Strategy
- Define and own Netop’s digital attribution model – determining how marketing touchpoints are credited and how that data informs channel investment decisions
- Architect and implement a retargeting strategy across paid and owned channels, ensuring audience segmentation is accurate, compliant, and commercially relevant
- Own the tracking stack: tag management, conversion tracking, UTM governance, and data quality across all marketing channels
Marketing Automation & CRM
- Manage and develop Netop’s marketing automation platform (Salesforce); own lead scoring, nurture flows, and lifecycle stage definitions
- Ensure clean data flows between marketing automation and CRM; maintain hygiene standards and segment accuracy
- Build automated reporting that connects marketing activity to pipeline metrics visible to commercial leadership
Web Management & Optimization
- Own the performance of netop.com from an acquisition and conversion standpoint: page speed, CRO testing, analytics configuration, and technical SEO health
- Collaborate with content and product marketing on page structure, messaging hierarchy, and site‑wide UX improvements
- Manage the CMS and coordinate with external developers on technical implementation requirements
Analytics, Benchmarking & Reporting
- Build and maintain the marketing analytics framework: from channel‑level performance data to full‑funnel reporting tied to commercial KPIs
- Define benchmarks and performance baselines across paid, web, and automation; produce regular reporting for marketing leadership and senior stakeholders
- Identify performance gaps and translate data into clear, prioritized recommendations – not just observations
Requirements and Qualifications
- 4–6 years of experience in a growth marketing, performance marketing, or digital marketing role – ideally within a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology context
- Hands‑on experience with paid media platforms (Google Ads, LinkedIn Campaign Manager), including campaign build, optimization, and budget management
- Strong command of marketing automation and CRM platforms – Salesforce experience strongly preferred
- Proficiency with web analytics tooling (GA4, or equivalent) and the ability to build dashboards that non‑technical stakeholders can act on
- Demonstrated experience owning attribution modeling and/or retargeting strategy – not just executing within an existing framework
- Technically comfortable: tag management (GTM), UTM governance, tracking implementation, and basic CMS operations should not require external support for routine tasks
Bonus
- Experience marketing to security, IT, or compliance buyers – familiarity with long sales cycles and multi‑stakeholder procurement
- Exposure to account‑based marketing (ABM) tactics and tooling
- Experience in a small or scaling marketing team where the scope is broad, and the execution is direct
