Job Description
The HR Manager will oversee and manage all aspects of the human resources function, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and compliance with Germany employment laws. The role focuses on talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Requirements
Major Roles and Responsibilities:
- HR Strategy and Planning:
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s overall objectives.
Analyse HR metrics to assess the effectiveness of policies and recommend improvements.
Participate in workforce planning and organizational design to meet future needs. - Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
Oversee the full-cycle recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding.
Develop strategies to attract and retain top talent.
Collaborate with department heads to identify staffing needs. - Employee Relations:
Serve as a point of contact for employee concerns, resolving disputes professionally and efficiently.
Ensure compliance with Germany employment laws and best practices.
Promote a culture of respect, diversity, and inclusion. - Performance Management:
Implement and oversee performance appraisal systems.
Support managers in setting objectives, conducting reviews, and providing feedback.
Develop employee development and succession planning initiatives. - Learning and Development:
Identify training needs and organize professional development programs.
Manage budgets and measure the ROI of training initiatives. - Compliance and Policies:
The candidate should be familiar with local German laws and capable of drafting employee contracts in compliance with German regulations.
They should also be able to provide support during immigration cases, including filling applications and preparing/providing supporting documents.
Update and maintain HR policies and procedures in line with legal requirements.
Conduct audits to ensure compliance with internal and external standards. - Compensation and Benefits:
Oversee payroll processes and manage employee benefits schemes.
Conduct benchmarking exercises to ensure competitive compensation packages. - HR Systems and Reporting:
Maintain and optimise HR systems for efficiency.
Generate reports on HR metrics and provide insights to senior management. - Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor the HR team, fostering professional growth and collaboration.
Encourage innovative approaches to HR challenges. - Managing company visa:
Managing end to end visa process for company.
Experience
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in HR management, ideally in Germany.
