Senior Electrical Engineer – Data Centres

We are representing an established international engineering consultancy seeking an experienced Senior Electrical Engineer to join its growing Data Centre team in Frankfurt.
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a highly technical, multidisciplinary engineering environment, working on some of the most high-profile data centre developments globally.
With a strong pipeline of regional and international projects, the successful candidate will play an important role in the continued growth and development of the electrical engineering team in Frankfurt. This is an opportunity to take ownership of technical delivery, work closely with clients and colleagues across international offices, and help shape the team's future.
The Opportunity
You will be involved throughout the design and delivery process, providing electrical engineering expertise across complex data centre projects.
Working alongside experienced engineers and multidisciplinary project teams, you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop and review technical designs, specifications and engineering documentation.
- Engage directly with clients and contribute to technical strategies.
- Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural and other project disciplines.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and CAD technicians.
- Contribute to project meetings, site inspections and design reviews.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues across regional and international offices.
- Take ownership of technical challenges and drive high-quality project delivery.
We are interested in hearing from experienced Electrical Engineers with a strong background in electrical design and consulting engineering.
Ideally, you will have:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- Experience working within an engineering consultancy or building services design environment.
- Strong electrical design and technical engineering capabilities.
- Experience producing electrical schematics, calculations, layouts and technical specifications.
- Knowledge of fault level and discrimination studies.
- The ability to take ownership of projects and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
- Experience supporting, mentoring or developing junior engineers.
- Chartered status or working towards professional accreditation would be advantageous.
New to Data Centres? That's Not a Problem.
Previous data centre experience is not essential.
